A Digital “Front Door” for Patient Records

In addition to the CMS designation, Oracle Health has launched an integrated solution designed to eliminate redundant paperwork during patient check-in. By integrating CLEAR, a secure identity platform, Oracle enables a “paper-free” intake process:

  • Identity Verification: Using CLEAR’s NIST IAL2-certified platform, patients can digitally verify their identity.
  • QR Code Check-In: Patients share their health records with providers simply by showing a QR code, allowing data to flow directly into EHR workflows.
  • Standards-Based Exchange: The platform communicates with other CMS Aligned Networks and Qualified Health Information Networks (QHINs) to create a single, secure entry point for patient data.

“Oracle Health is committed to making sure patients have access to and remain in control of their health data,” said Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences.

Real-World Impact at AtlantiCare

New Jersey-based health system AtlantiCare is among the first in the nation to fully integrate this technology into its ambulatory workflows. The system has successfully eliminated traditional waiting room forms and repetitive medical history collection, allowing verified information to flow seamlessly into clinical records before a patient even sees a provider.
